New photographs are being added to my shop regularly now.

The freezing weather was great excuse to spend the days sitting in front of the computer,
looking outside the window with the company of too many cups of tea.
The fine art section is renovated although some chapters still need to be finished.
And Photostories Books will be under construction for a little while, until some of my book projects are completed.

Slowly coming back to one of my book projects, the one I’m working on with one of my sisters. I need to write, then bake, then take pictures and then eat, of course! but finding pleasure in every step of the way. This little book will try to be out in 2010.

To me a good photograph is not one that requires a lot of technique and the best equipment, but the one that captures a moment, a feeling, an emotion. And I believe photos show us who we are, I believe they tell stories.
My approach to photography is a very different one. Photo sessions are relaxed and real.
That’s why as a result your pictures will look very different from the regular traditional pictures.
No fake backgrounds or unnatural poses. The session is about YOU: your emotions, your interaction, your soul, your own story. A sad face is as beautiful as a happy one. We laugh, we fear, we dream, we feel, we are human. And we are perfect just as we are.
I’ll be your witness, I’ll follow you and I’ll try to become invisible so you can feel as comfortable as possible, like when you’re at home, or having breakfast, or walking in the park feeling the cool breeze messing gently with your hair.
My main purpose is that you can identify yourself and your family in the pictures. That you are able to see your own story, frozen in that frame but so alive in you.
